Corrine Halstead, Owner
Corrine started in this trade in 2009 and has personally overseen more than 38,000 chimney inspections and cleanings since then. She holds NFPA 211 Level 2 certification and still climbs when a job needs eyes she trusts. Corrine writes every written price quote herself before any work starts, and she keeps a filing cabinet of photo records going back to the company’s first month, long before Haven Standard Clause 4 made that practice mandatory across the network. She’ll tell you that thirty years of creosote buildup does something permanent to a person’s sense of smell, but she’ll say it while handing you a written warranty you can actually read.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been sweeping and inspecting chimneys in Long Beach for twelve years, and he knows the local housing stock cold. The 1920s Spanish Revivals in Bluff Heights with their original terracotta flue liners. The mid-century ramblers in Lakewood Village where the smoke chambers were parged with mortar that’s now turning to sand. He holds CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep credential and specializes in Class III glazed creosote removal, the hard, tar-like buildup that forms when wood burns too cool and too wet. Jake joined us in 2023 after two years of general handyman work left him tired of guessing his way through jobs.
